30 HOURS FREE CHILDCARE

Free Funding
All thee and four-year-old children in England are already entitled to 15 hours of free childcare a week during school term time, that is 570 hours each year, whether or not their parents are working.
From 1 September 2017, these children will qualify for an extra 15 hours a week, so 30 hours a week in total. Many working parents of 3 and 4year olds, could be eligible to receive these free childcare hours. The eligibility criteria are the same as the ones for Tax-Free Childcare, except you can continue to get these types of support at the same time as 30 hours free childcare.
Why not register online via www.childcarechoices.gov.uk to apply for the free funding. Subject to eligibility, parents will be issued with a ‘code’ and once they have received their code, they can enroll their loved one's.
If you are a local resident of Bexley and if you would like further information about this new government funding, book a visit to our Bexley and Sidcup nursery and of cause, we are here to assist
We also want to remind existing parents to reconfirm their eligibility for 30 hours every three months. To support this, HMRC has produced a parent communication toolkit, to provide further information to parents about 30 hours and Tax-Free Childcare.
