We guide children in developing their skills with numbers and calculations, as well as being able to describe shapes, spaces, and measures.

Our friendly and secured day nursery environment is full of mathematical resources to excite and enable the children to explore, count and calculate.

 

We offer children patterns so they can learn to recognise the fundamental rules behind them, describe patterns and create their own. We encourage children and give them the opportunities to measure and compare quantities while developing the vocabulary to describe what they are doing.

 

All children are supported to be creative, problem solvers and critical thinkers by giving them plenty of opportunities to talk about positioning with resources and activities.
