Friday 6th of December 2019 was a special day for Purple Willows Nuxley Village Daycare Nursery. We are delighted that our grand opening has reached a milestone with many applications received within a week of opening.

We celebrated our grand opening with the Mayor of Bexley, Cllr. Geraldene Lucia-Hennis cutting the ribbon and officially unveiling the nursery. The Mayor and her consort had a tour at the nursery and they were very impressed with the state of art facilities, and the kind of services the nursery will be offering to the local community. The Mayor Said” I have no doubt Purple Willows Day Nursery will be a success taking into account Roland's achievements in his other business activities in Bexley".

Roland Tandoh CEO of Purple Willows said” “We are delighted that the Mayor of Bexley was able to join us, to mark a unique chapter in our nursery project. We were gratified with the Mayor’s motivational speech and I believe it will go a long way to inspire our entire nursery team to serve our children with humility and dedication. Our objective is quality and not quantity, and we aim to provide a curriculum that is designed to underpin and achieve our mission. We extend our warm welcome to all the children joining our unique and nurturing environment and look forward to supporting their new start of educational journey with Purple Willows Preschool”.

Purple Willows is a beautiful and modern children’s nursery located on a on a prominent location on Erith Road designed with state of art resources. The nursery offer wide expanses of space, forest school and has superb free flow facility which provides the opportunity for children with the freedom to experience learning both inside and outside. The nursery also provides an online learning journal system in conjunction with ParentZone. Purple Willows offer outstanding education and childcare provision to children aged 3 months to 5 years though out the year.

The nursery is registered with the Office for Standards in Education (Ofsted), and will offer free 15 and 30 hours childcare subject to applicant meeting funding criteria. Purple Willows Belvedere will accommodates 92 children with required staff-to-child ratio for under two year old 1:3 and under three year old 1:4.

It is envisaged that Purple Willows Nurseries will help create a greater choice and flexibility for parents looking for professional childcare and early education for their loved ones. Among the services of Purple Willows are inter-generational care and forest school.

Sincere congratulations to Awa on her hard-earned success in Jack Petchey Awards 2019.

On Wednesday 20th November, Awa received the winners award presented by the Hon. Nicolas Bennett at the Churchill Theater Bromley.

The Jack Petchey achievement awards are primarily about recognising those young people who put in the effort and do their best, and we are so please to see Awa's recognition for her diligence and enthusiasm in what she does.

Awa was named as outstanding student with commendable attitude by her college, LSEC (London South East Colleges Bromley).

Having joined Purple Willows as Apprentice nursery nurse in 2018, Awa has been extremely dedicated and we appreciate her energy, kindness and all the hard work. We are delighted for her achievement, and we look forward to her carer journey with Purple Willows Day Nursery.

We are pleased to announce the opening of our new nursery located in Nuxley Village Belvedere. It's time for prospective new parents to look around, ask questions and meet our amazing team over refreshments. It will be a fun activity day for children packed with indoor and outdoor activities, and we will be joined by special quest to officially open the nursery on Friday the 6th December 2019.

We will be running 2 sessions on each of the following dates. There will be no requirement to book, please just come along, and we look forward to meeting you all.
